Have owned both. I would not let the type of walls change my decision on a home. Find a home you like in a location you like at a price you like. Both have several pro's and con's but trying to weigh one against the other is not really a worthwhile exercise. Both if built well will outlast all of us. I liked the frame because I do most everything myself and it was much easier to do things. Pressure wash siding myself, add fans, lights, switches, etc myself. So if I had two exact homes side by side, with EVERYTHING else being equal I would probably buy the frame home. But there are so many other factors that influence the buying decision that make this one very minor. Location number 1, 2 and 3, home layout 4, etc. etc. and frame or block is down around number 50 or so.
