1. The Villages is *not* a "retirement community." It's an active 55+ community.
2. The bar is set at 55 and not 64 for those living in The Villages. MOST people living in the Villages are retired and don't have to work. Most 16-year-olds still live with their families, haven't even entered the work force yet, and therefore shouldn't be counted at all in this. In fact, most 18-year-olds don't have full time work either because they have a) just graduated high school and still have whatever part time jobs they had previously, or b) will be attending college next year and therefore can't be saddled into permanent full-time employment yet. So this:

Doesn't really have any statistical significance. What might be significant, is to compute the percentage of the population aged 21-55 who work in full-time year-round jobs in the county.
