Default Sticking to the subject of the thread.....

I do not think partisan politics will go away, regardless who gets elected.
It is so deeply instilled and practiced the 545 in DC there is no hope. The likes of Nancy Pelosi in a leadership position or not is the role model...she espouses the fact if it is from the opposition she is against it.
This forum has it's followers as well (both parties). How many times has there been an appeal to not use partisan positioning to answer a question. Conclusion: it is not possible.

It is going to take some catastrophic event of significant consequence...unfortunately...to bring this nation back together.

The only other hope...low probability of occurrence based on past practice....the reawakening of we the people changing from the silent majority to one of pro actively pursuing government....rising to the mode of we are sick and tired of it and not going to take it anymore. I remain pessimistic.
