I just use cell phone now but I used to have one of those a couple years ago up north (similar device). It caused a problem when my father's automated help call came through when he pushed his "I've fallen and can't get up" button and was taken to the hospital. The calls didn't all come from same number and I never got it. It also doesn't stop "live" call spammers who just press the number but other than those caveats they work well.
