Only serious predators here are the foxes, but they usually give the cats a wide birth. Cats fight back, as many a one eyed fox will agree!
Badgers can be a problem if confronted, but our cats, being rural cats, are smart, smell them a mile off, and give them a wide birth.
Our cat was always an outdoor cat and lived to be 17. I suppose if you live on a really busy street, cars might be an issue.
