We have a system that fills the water to the correct amount so there is no guess work. I fill the water about every two weeks and that is during the hot summer months. In the cooler months, about once a month is all that it needs and even then it requires little water to reach the full level. I would imagine one spends more time gassing up a gas cart than I spend adding water to my batteries. And......I add the water in my garage and don't have to stop at a gasoline pump.
