I used Zeva in my two carts because there was a good following, good info available and good customer support (from Australia). I have a friend in Orlando who's put together more than 25 Nissan Leaf packs and has been using a much cheaper BMS from China that uses a Bluetooth interface. As far as I know he's not had any issues so far. I'll probably try one of those on my next build.
