That sounds very reasonable. I had a lot of spin outs on my trips from Reno, Nevada to Denver, CO in 1983-1984 and back. Spent about 2 hours stuck backwards in a snow bank way outside of Cheyenne, WY on New Years' Eve in 1983. A good Samaritan alerted a tow truck which got to me and pulled me out.
