What's the ETA on taste bud recovery? That has to be NOTHING but a great thing to look forward to. Let the cheese tasting begin!

My Doc said that in 2 to 3 weeks the sensation of taste and also my appetite would probably start to come back
I actually haven't had nothing much to eat other than watered down small curd cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, some tapioca pudding and sips of water for over 40 days now. I’m down about 35 lbs.
(*I only add this last bit of information as a caution for anyone who happens to be standing in front of the refrigerator door when my appetite returns... they may want to consider moving to the side a bit....
