Ring makes 3 levels of video doorbells. Only the highest one, the Ring Pro needs the low voltage wiring.
Your best bet is to take that back and buy the less expensive but still very good Ring2.....that one can be either battery powered or wired. Most reviews rate it actually better than the Ring Pro.
