My neighbor has a nine car garage. You can only see 4 from the front and the rest are around the side on a pie shaped lot. Perhaps you can do something similar on a smaller scale on a cul-de-sac lot. Another has three full in front, with a double deep on the last one. It has a cart door facing the back so they can pull around. And that one is on a regular inside lot.
And yes, the garages were part of the original build of the house built by the developer. But this was 15 years ago, do they still customize to add on garages?
