Now THAT'S something to cry about! I would kill for only a 10% increase!
I think the big fuss is because many seniors live on a fixed income that, at best, goes up annually based on the reported CPI. When one is on a fixed income, and expenses go up at a large multiple of revenues, it squeezes peoples lifestyles. Things like food, property taxes, health care, trash disposal, insurance, energy, and yes green fees, etc... have by far outpaced the CPI.

Many seniors would kill for a 10% cost of living increase in their pensions.
