I am still quite aggravated that you have to put up with this.
I agree with Tal that this is an issue for the developer.
I also bet there is some history on this kind of thing having been pushed by others. It is a look that does not sell houses. That is the bottom line. As much as this seems to be your problem right now, it is an even bigger problem for the developer. Surely it will be handled by the developer. To ignore such an attitude, to let it take hold and spread, just does not make business sense.
TV residents take well-deserved pride in how beautifully the properties are kept. It is a big part of the reason so many have bought in. I keep thinking this just has to turn out OK, otherwise it would indicate that things are being allowed to shift overall. This is a much bigger picture than just a big bunch of gee-gaws out in somebody's yard. I really think it is the developer's problem to handle.
