To get back on subject - Our first cruise maybe 40 years ago I took 2 not 1 tuxedos. Back then there were usually 2 dress up nights and I wanted to do it right. I have taken a tux since but not too often. I do pack a suit and a sports coat and wear them. But that being said...... I have walked into the dining room next to people in swim suits, shorts, jeans and 1 guy had a UNC baby blue basketball uniform on.
I'm thinking when he heard "Captain's Dinner" he was thinking "Team Captain"
