For our 25th some time ago, we went to back to Las Vegas for a few days. It's where we had spent part of our honeymoon. The atmosphere had changed: it was mobbed on weekends with college students and sticker shock was profound, everything at least doubled in price. Neither of us liked it at all, even though the hotel upgraded us to a suite. Husband's comment was "Well, one good thing about it...I'll never have to go back there as long as I live." So, obviously, we should have gone somewhere new so we wouldn't be comparing things to the way they used to be.
