Being a bit of an astronomy nerd, I could not help but just watch the launch that just occurred. Figured out the orientation (about 105 degrees from N).
Luckily that was right out our back window. Turned off all the lights and watched it streaming live on my ipad and then it appeared in the air. Nothing but cool.... extremely neat to see that.
As it went over, I flashed the lights on and off and waved. I think I could see one of the windows open up. But as it was pretty far up there, I’m not certain if they waved back or not.
However, about 30 seconds later, I heard a big ‘ole thud.
.... yup, I went out front and there it was.... the newspaper...
Simply amazing...
Now I finally know how it gets here...
