I agree, if the person renting the home is a senior, I would pursue that route. If not satisfied, then small claims court is the way to go, and it’s not hard to sue in small claims. I’m so sorry your friend had this bad experience. Most homeowners that rent seasonally are good, honest folks, but there are exceptions.
