1st I was an accounts reconciliation clerk in a major bank for 7 years. I wanted to be a teacher, but love found me and college was out. So I worked in a bank. Then came the babies. I wanted to be a stay at home Mom. Thats the job I wanted. Teaching at home was what I got! Realistically I had to work. I worked opposite hubbys hours for 25 years waitressing. I LOVED it! I was great at it! I had an ocean view and a great following. I just had to be home for the kids during the day. Hub was Mr.Mom at night. It worked for us. I guess that is blue collar? Well, I am now reaping the rewards of a long, hard career. I love meeting all types of people and don't care if anyone thinks my job was menial. Most don't. I was and am proud of what I did.
