Got seven books for my parents at the Belvedere Library (Sumter County) here in the Villages, FL yesterday on January 31, 2020. The library was full of students from the high school across the street at that time. These were the Buffalo.

Got all these books for NOTHING. Quite a good deal. The computer system was down at the library. I have had that happen myself when checking out people who were at the East Lake Community Library or the Palm Harbor Library. Both of these public libraries are in Palm Harbor, FL. I volunteered at these for 10-14 hours a week in 2000-2003.

And had worked at Englewood Public Library in CO and in the History and Travel Department at the Central Library in downtown Minneapolis.

Was really pushing my 224 613 Project too hard while I was volunteering at these two libraries. Sending e-mails all over the world and using Findlaw from 2002- up through until after we moved to the Villages in June of 2005.

Libraries are quite a savior for people.

I think one of my fellow University of Denver Graduate School of Librarianship and Information Management graduates who was also my roommate for nine months in Denver, CO now works in a public library just outside of Seattle, WA.
