Last night on the news they were showing Palin at a rally and of course what comes up again, his terrorist associations. I am not going to list everything I have heard or read for sake of not arguing here. That is a debate in itself. They worry more about wanting you to believe that he is this or that.
Obama keeps pounding his plan and letting everyone know what he wants for the country. Now you can say that is smart game plan, or he is a good and smooth talker as I was told lastnight. But that still goes to show that the Republican Nominee thinks that smearing Obama and making people believe that Guilt By Association is his number on priority and the fact that maybe his plan isnt the right one or good enough to win the Office of President of the United States.
If I was a Commanding Officer in a war and was more worried about what the enemy has already done instead of what I CAN DO, then you loose the war.. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.Isn't this why we study history? Tactitians must incorporate the past in their decision making. We, the voters, are the tactitians and must be aware of the past history of those we are voting for... not just the many (usually empty) promises they make about the future.
"I don't want to get any messages saying that, "We are holding out position." We're not holding anything! Let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we're not interested in holding on to anything except the enemy. We're going to hold on to him by the nose and we're going to kick him in the *ss; we're going to go through him like crap through a goose." -- George S. Patton .
Not sure if this makes sense or not, if you want to win you got to be a step ahead of you opposition. You cant always and only bring up negatives all the time. your not giving the people the leadership they want to see and hear.
Again this is my thought and only my thought, not starting nothing, simply stating what i want to say. I quoted Patton above simply beacuse, he always gave people the bottom line, if you wanted hear something straight, he would tell you. That is what i believe McCain has not done.
