From where I live its probably a 35-40 minute drive up to Ocala Country club, and gas for my car. I wouldn't want to do it every time I play golf, but it would be nice to get off the compound once a week and play a different course.

For only 5 dollars less than it cost me to play Laurel to Riley at Palmer, which typically takes me less than 15 minutes to get to in our own golf cart, I won't be driving to Ocala to unload/load our clubs from a cart that doesn't have all the comfort features of our own cart. The wear and tear on our car versus our golf cart, and the gas, would be much more than the 5 dollar savings on the golf rate. And our lunch always consists of a turkey sandwich on multigrain bread and bag of cut up vegetables that are in the cooler on our golf cart, regardless of where we play, so no savings there.
