The test of character was when almost 5,000 young Americans were killed for a misguided war and the Commander-in- Chief doesn't even have the character to admit he was wrong. According to Bob Woodward's book, Bush was so detached, he didn't even bother to attend most of the meetings. Now THAT'S a test of character, and Bush failed miserably!
