The crash was one door away from the liquor store. I don't drink. I like to act smug about it.

And it is not a joking matter. People were seriously hurt. It is a nightmare to think you could be innocently going about your business and be hit and killed. OR...hit and kill someone. I stopped driving when I learned that my heart beat...before the pacemaker was installed, could have made me black out. It has been two years and I know now I am safe, but we all need to think of others as well as ourselves.
