Same thing happened to me. Quest did $2000 worth of bloodwork and it was rejected because they submitted it to the wrong insurance. I even questioned it when they gave me the receipt when I was there. It said my insurance was Florida blue. I don’t have Florida blue. I have a different Blue Cross. They said that it’s submitted to Florida blue first and then goes to the next insurance. Makes no sense.

This is not done by mistake. This is done to get you to pay the bill and they also get paid by your medical insurance company.
