We always recommend Tim Miller. He is one of the very few that install these CORRECTLY. There are a few Gutter companies who install these attic stairs INCORRECTLY. Both the two main manufacturers, Louisville and Warner BOTH say to install these using ONLY either ten 3" Lag screws or ten 16D nails. The label clearly says this in both english and spanish. They even come with the lag screws!!

Using drywall screws, gutter screws, etc., is dangerous and will void the warranty.

Also, on the subject, please make sure you install these going the same direction as the roof pitch when possible. Climbing up these stairs and hitting your head on the roofing nails that stick out of the roof sheathing is not pleasant.
