Medicare "supplement" plans, also called Medigap, are regulated by the Government and are designed to cover certain costs that are not covered by Medicare Part B. So, any health provider who accepts Medicare Part B must also accept the Government approved Medicare supplement plan. A Medicare Advantage plan, also called Part C, is a "replacement" for Part B, not a supplement plan.
