If you have Plan F my advice would be NOT to switch to anything else, if you give it up you will not get it back. We bought into Plan J when AARP first started their health plans and we have NEVER, ever seen a co-pay or a bill. I was a patient at Mayo in Jacksonville for three years and all I ended up paying out of pocket was $73. My husband (who was super healthy when we move here) has since had three major heart surgeries, cancer and chemo, knee and hip surgery and we have never seen a bill for anything.

We did approach TV Health to talk about changing to a cheaper plan and even they told us not to give up our Plan J. Also, we have never had a problem finding a doctor, a specialist or hospital that does not take AARP United Health Care, plus it goes with you everywhere. Keep your F plan.
