Or MUCH more than 10 people crowding the attendant, asking her why they can't be there when the 10 who are there aren't even near each other, or even IN the pool at the same time...and when will this let up? And can't they just take a quick dip "right over there" where no one is sitting? And what time is the next wave coming, and can they reserve 5PM tomorrow? And they have a party of 11 coming, surely she can just miscount and not notice, no one will say anything...

People don't like rules, as much as some folks on this forum claim they do. They only like rules when it benefits them. When it doesn't benefit them, they do not like them. And they will protest, and try to get around them, and want to talk to someone in charge so they can complain about them.

There will be no peaceful pool participation, if you limit the number of people allowed to be at the pools OTHER than the usual max capacity. If there are empty tables, if there is a 6-foot diameter around any person IN the pool - there will be someone complaining that they should have the same right to be in there too.
