True story.
It was 1968, and I was attending a state fair, KR and TFE were performing. Can't remember the song but I was doing my best to sing a harmony part.
My voice must have carried to the stage because towards end of song KR pointed to me with a big grin and a "thumbs up".
Later, KR walked into the audience with a microphone, singing one of his hits. I was sitting on the aisle, a few rows back from the stage. KR pointed the mic at me to catch my singing. I was SO embarrassed.
I will always remember that and now tear up while writing this.
