New Hulu series, DEVS...part thriller, part sci fi, with strong recurrent spiritual element. One chapter each Thursday.

1916. Documentary on Irish struggle for freedom. Never will you hear more articulate, clear and poetic explanation of history.

True crime series....old murders for, surprise surprise, reasons of sex and money.

Old and new movies/TV: The Furies, Days of Wine and Roses, Super 8, War Horse, Columbo, Bob Newhart, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Valhalla Murders, Outlander, The Man in the High Castle, A Shock to the System (how to get ahead through electricity!), The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (great...Richard Burton at his world weary best), Run Silent Run Deep (Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster on a sub), Ray Bradbury theater, Pandemic (free) or my personal favorite (you have to pay to rent) Contagion, with the Goop girl, Gwyneth Paltrow, bringing something back to America that everyone can get for free...and regret it.

There's also, on Netflix, Kate and Leopold (love story and time travel), Marriage Story (falling apart of one), The Great Raid (WWII true story of rescue), Mystic River (revenge, loss, sadness), True Grit ("fill your hands, you son of a ….."), Red Dawn ("Wolverines!!!), Tremors (Kevin Bacon, Reba with an automatic weapon), Snow Day (comedy!), Longmire (a sheriff you can count on), 21 (card counters and Vegas vigilance), Seinfeld special I'M telling YOU for the Last TIMe, Kodachrome (hard to love father on road trip with bitter son....stay till the end), Hostiles (best serious western since Unforgiven, good for folks who think they can't ever change), Medal of Honor (true heroism).

And oh, search around Netflix, Amazon, Hulu for old reruns of Match Game shows. Still funny after all these years!!
