Slightly off topic, but I've recently been experiencing a strange phenomenon with a less than 1-1/2 years old GE refrigerator. For the first 1-1/4 years, the temps in the upper frig section were rock solid at 35 deg F. The upper section is set at 35 deg F, and I have a thermometer in it to keep a check on it.

Of late, early in the morning with no one entering it for hours, the frig section reads 41 deg F. It hangs there throughout much of the day, although infrequently there are times it does read in the mid 30's for short periods of time. I put two additional thermometers in the frig, and they both read essentially the same as the first thermometer. We pulled the food away from the walls of the frig, and made sure the vents were not blocked. There appears to be no issue with the door seals. The ice maker makes "dry" ice cubes and the freezer section is holding steady at 0 deg F. I vacuumed the coils section, which weren't very dirty, so I do not think they are part of the issue.

I don't understand why the frig section is suddenly acting the way it is. Does anyone have a suggestion?
