redwitch....I've interacted with lawyers professionally and personally more than I cared to. My experience clearly established that if you wanted to get anything done, you dealt directly with the legal secretaries whenever you could. They did the background, the briefs and frequently knew more about the case than the attorney. Count yourself as an undercompensated executive.
