That's a 4.2% death rate, higher than the current death rate in the U.S. of about 2.8%. That is the problem with accepting these preliminary studies without long term controlled groups. Basically the only conclusion one can reach just at looking at that study is that the drug combination is not effective but the drug combination is killing people at a higher rate. Bottom line is everyone hopes that very soon we have an effective drug that can cure COVID-19. I sure do.
