Areas ebb and flow. When I moved here in 2011 I was 61 and played softball. My village, Tamarind Grove was just built and we didn't have a team yet. I played for Calumet Grove, which is at the north end. On the team, I was the youngest player. The coach was 76 and everyone else was around 70. That was 9 years ago, many of those have passed on. So now Calumet Grove might be different. I'll be 70 in July, my village has certainly changed. The ages come and go, people die, people move.
Personally I love where I'm at, halfway between Brownwood and LSL. I've been in the north, I go to the VA at Mulberry for medical treatment, have played golf at Lopez. It's far too quiet and far too far from the stuff I enjoy. At my location I can reach 8 championship golf courses in my cart within 25 minutes. I go to MVP Gym at Brownwood many days a week, and it's only ten minutes by car. I like the music setup at Brownwood and LSL. I like the shopping at Colony and Trailwinds, we have a lot of stuff here. If I want to go to 441/27 to Target or Best Buy, or a restaurant it takes 20 minutes by car.
