Sigh
There are currently 18,000 confirmed cases in Florida. 1,365 of those are travel related. 3,783 of those are contact with a confirmed case. 994 are travel and contact with confirmed case.
That leaves 11,306 confirmed cases that are of unknown origin. How do you think these people caught the virus? Probably wasn't from sitting on the couch at home sucking down a beer.
Here is CDC on how virus is transmitted.
Person-to-person spread
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person.
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
Some recent studies have suggested that COVID-19 may be spread by people who are not showing symptoms.
Maintaining good social distance (about 6 feet) is very important in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Spread from contact with contaminated surfaces or objects
It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about
this virus.

So we virus particles can travel in the air and infect you, the scientists in Helsinki were very smart to analyze cough clouds and show they can travel further than a sneeze cloud especially indoors. They are doing science, not fear mongering.
When's the last time a national health official told you to stay out of grocery stores etc as much as possible? Dr Birx sees a lot more data about this virus than we do, and she didn't make the recommendation because she is clueless.
