I admit I’m an optimist, but I deal in facts over feelings.
Lots of info to slice, dice, and parse here:
COVID-19 Map - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center
And here:
Coronavirus Update (Live): 1,846,833 Cases and 113,883 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Pandemic - Worldometer
Keep in mind that we’re trying to solve for x with missing variables. It’s suspected that there are way more infections that are going unreported because people self resolve without hospitalization. That would bring the mortality rate down even more.
So, yes, it’s a fact that this is deadly serious for some. My feeling is when the world debriefs on this over the coming months, I think it’s going to look like one of the biggest cases of the tail wagging the dog in human history.
