Good for you. I did exactly the same. I sold most all of my furniture and lived with an aerobed and a couple of pieces that my kids wanted and picked up just before I made the move. Even so, I had about 100 boxes filled with my clothes, favorite kitchen stuff, craft/sewing things, linens, pictures, mirrors and do-dads. Congratulations and I can't wait to meet you. For all the other wannabees, be optimistic and keep the faith. If you're willing to sell without making huge profits and sell at today's market price, hang in. It will happen.
