It is more meaningful to state the number of cases per 100,000 population rather than just the totals.

As of the early Saturday (4/18) morning, here are the number of cases per 100,000 population:

215 USA
1,203 New York State
108 Florida
89 Sumter County
56 The Villages (73 cases & 130,000 population)
