Also, Bark Central dog park in Inverness is about a half hour from the intersection of 44 & 301. There is a fee. Both sections have an artificial pond, plus there are indoor tubs for bathing the dog, and an outdoor hose if you don't want to pay for the indoor tub. If you don't have towels and shampoo, there's a fee for that.
And a mile up the road (CR 101) from the intersection of 466 and Belvedere is Doggy Doo Run Run, also a fee but a very large park with benches and shade. Bark park has a web site and seems to be open. I'm sure someone on the forum knows if DDRR is open. I know their daycare facility is.
