If you look at the history of the Islamic attacks in the U.S., Israel and Great Britain, they are spaced out. If things go according to the past, there should be another attack within the next two years. Barring a disturbed individual, I would have been very surprised had there been attack in the past 6 years.
Most Muslims are very patient people. They understand that they've been around for centuries and will probably be around for many centuries more. That means waiting 5-8 years in between attacks is nothing to them.
There are many things I blame Pres. Bush for. However, whether or not there is an attack I honestly believe has nothing to do with who is president of this nation. It has more to do when plans, including all funding and training, are in place. I sincerely doubt the radicals care what party or individual is in charge -- just whether the training is complete; whether they have all necessary materials; whether the leaders can escape (the lower-echelon are simply cannon fodder in their eyes, anyway); whether the plans are in fact viable and will create havoc and fear.
