From the very first day when they took out the existing plants until the final plant was placed, they took care to avoid showing the magnitude of the job. At the end of each day they hauled away whatever they had taken out and minimized the impact of materials waiting for installation. The roadway was always open, their equipment stowed away. We requested a design change after some of the blocks had been installed and they were able to meet our request without delaying completion. And when it was done the only sign they had ever been there was a smudge on the road where they had delivered the dirt for the flower beds, and that washed away with the first rain.
