If I were to start over, knowing what I know now, I would buy as close as possible to Doggy Doo Run Run. It's private and either pay as you go or monthly (cheaper), but it is by far the best dog park around TV. It's on CR 101, a mile down the road from Bonefish Grill. The Atlas dog park has no shade, a drainage problem, and few places to sit. The dog park behind the fire station off Buena Vista is on a hill, is small, and pretty pathetic. I don't know about Mulberry--I hear it's nice. I've not been to the ones south of 44.

Ad DDRR you don't even have to pick up after your dog. You stick a flag in the ground next to it, and they come around several times a day and clean the place up. Plus there is a little dog wading pool. (Or at least there was two years ago.)

So Belvedere area or Tall Trees, or that little enclave further along 101. A big plus with Belvedere area is gas heat and cooking.
