I was on a very good team with a great bunch of guys this past winter season. Before the recreation department decided to cancel the rest of the season, we were given the choice to play or not to play. Had anyone chose not to play for a concern about their risk of potential exposure to covid-19, there would be no repercussions from the softball league. I was one of the players that chose to not play. It was shortly thereafter that many activities were cancelled and that softball was officially cancelled. I too miss playing softball very much but I will patiently wait for this to pass and play when I feel I won't be at risk of bringing anything home to my wife who is one of the people who are in the high risk categories.
