This was March 17th. I can't remember at what phase of warnings we were at locally or nationally. I know our daughter and granddaughter were visiting us a few days before, and that very shortly after their visit is when the whole thing became evident to be a real crisis. My daughter and granddaughter who are usually very wise indeed, sort of dismissed my concern. I was very nervous when they flew back to New York City and to London early in March.
It took awhile before the warnings and the airline shut downs and the confusion about what to do. I remember that our granddaughter was going to fly to the Keys with a friend about a week after she visited here and decided to cancel it. Does anyone remember exactly when the quarantine began here?
