I guess there are multiple reasons for the number of Virus's in New York City, I believe the residents are living real close to each other, there are a number who have to work and be close, the subways are a definite factor, the profile of the people regarding attitudes, the ability to control certain residents with "rules', etc. I worked in lower Manhattan for many years and am not at all surprised at the level of infected.
