As we all know people will pee in the pool and saliva will get in the pool and of course just about every other body function you can think of May leak into the pool also. Some people aren't well and that will go into the pool. This also causes problems. I just personally feel that I Would not go into the pool until everything is basically safe and secure and they have a cure or some kind of thing to stop this virus. 6 feet away won't help when everybody is sharing the same basic bathwater! Think about it. I prefer not to dive into a pool that is, what I feel, not totally safe yet.. but that is just my opinion . Everyone has a right to theirs and I'm not looking for an argument I'm just stating the way I feel , and the way I know others feel that I know personally. And also what I've heard from Friends who have spoken to me about the public pools.

1. The Villages has no public pools.
2. They are limiting the number of people allowed in the water at any given moment, and they're ALSO limiting the duration of swimmers/pool-dunkers to 1 hour each.
3. There is no diving in ANY of the pools, so your preference not to dive into one is irrelevent.
4. People pee and cough and spit into the pools when there isn't a virus going around. If you're not okay with that, you probably shouldn't ever go into a pool that is ever occupied by anyone else, ever.
5. Welcome to the forum. Interesting you picked this thread for your first post.
