Just a couple of concerns really, involving placement. You'll want to make sure the sun doesn't shine on it during the times you expect to be using it. Reason: glare. Unless you have a way of eliminating glare from an open lanai, such as a pull-down shade, you really need to consider placement.

Also, again because you said it's an outdoor lanai and I"m assuming you mean an open-air one and not screened in - consider whether a stiff breeze on a rainy day is going to send water too close for comfort to the TV. So placement once again.

Rain/wind risk, plus sun/glare risk. Solve that and you should be good to go.
