Actually, from what I know about Operation Shoebox, they can always use folks to help assemble the gazillion stockings (used to do shoeboxes, but they're harder/costlier to ship) they send out.
Best beginning source, I think, to find some ideas: the
Daily Sun publishes an article every Monday as the lead story to the
Lifestyles section ("D"), which is accompanied by a long list of opportunities and contacts.
