You drive in your car or golf cart to the doctor or lab, you won't get the virus while driving. Doctor's offices and labs control entry and only allow 1 or 2 people in at a time and sterilize the things you come into contact with. Your risk is very low.
When you go to the doctor or a lab you are being exposed to all kinds of other illnesses that can prove fatal also. That's why many people go to the doctor or have lab work done, they are sick with something.
