I'll put my seer hat on for a moment and what I see is this pandemic getting worse exponentially by the end of this year. Those who are cautious will not be infected, those who are careless will. The economy will suffer greatly and will not recover to its pre-pandemic level for at least 6 years.
Simply put, people would rather listen to a talking head rather than examining history and listening to the non-partisan scientific community.

Not sure who you are referring to as a "talking head" but the President has established with his team a three phased plan. We are still in phase I of that plan and social distancing,, wearing masks etc. are still part of the plan. I disagree that we will be in bad economic times for six years. If we wait another year to open up the economy there will not be much of an economy left and you can be assured that a "talking head" from another party has NO plan. This Country has to go back to work! We cannot continue to keep it shut down, with multi trillion give away programs like are now being proposed.
